Storage
Stop the mower. Clean the exterior of the machine thoroughly using a soft brush and cloth. Do not
use water, solvents or polishes. Remove all grass and debris, especially from the ventilation slots.
Turn the machine on its side and clean the blade area. If grass cuttings are compacted in the blade
area, remove with a wooden or plastic implement.
Store the machine in a dry place. Do not place other objects on top of the machine.
To aid storage, pull out the lower handle lock knob outwards a little to loosen the lower handle and
lay down the lower handle onto the mower engine as shown in M1. Store the mower vertically as
shown in M2.
NOTE:
While laying down the lower handle, the lower handle lock knob needs to be exactly inserted
into the hole on the rear shaft of the mower. (See Fig. M3)
For Battery Tools
The ambient temperature range for the use and storage of tool and battery is 0 to 45
o
C (32 to 113
o
F).
The recommended ambient temperature range for the charging system during charging is 0 to 40
o
C
(32 to 104
o
F).
It is recommended that the battery be stored indoors for the winter months.
