Place the shoulder harness over the head and on the
shoulder, and adjust it if necessary. Refer to the
section entitled Installing the Shoulder Harness.
Start the Blower/Vac. See the section entitled
Starting/Stopping Instructions.
Set the Blower/Vac mode flip-lever to the up position
(Blower Mode) (Fig. 16).
Do not use the Blower/Vac if the lever is halfway
between the modes.
Hold the blower as shown in Figures 17, 18, and 19. Sweep
from side to side, with the nozzle several inches above the
ground or floor. Slowly advance the blower, keeping the
accumulated pile of debris in front.
Most dry blowing operations are better suited to low speeds
rather than high speeds. High-speed blowing is better
suited to moving heavier items such as large debris or
gravel.
Use the blower for trees, shrubs, flower beds, and hard-
to-clean areas (Fig. 17).
Use the blower around buildings and for other normal
cleaning procedures (Fig. 18).
Use the blower around walls, overhangs, fences, and
screens (Fig. 19).
