INSTALLING AND REMOVING THE MULCHING PLUG

1. To install the grass catcher bag (3) at the rear chute, lift the chute cover (1) and remove the mulching plug.
2. While holding the chute cover (1) up, place the hanger hooks of the grass catcher bag (2) into the opening on
the chute cover (1) in order to allow the hanger hooks to attach to the rod (4) that secures the chute cover.
3. Empty the bag after each use in order to prevent decomposition of the bag.
4. The mulching plug must be re-installed when the bag is not in place.
1. To remove the mulching plug, lift the chute cover (1) and pull the mulching plug out using the handle.
2. The mulching plug (2) is inserted on an angle, so it requires some force to remove it.
3. The mulching plug must be removed in order to install the grass catcher bag.
4. The mulching plug must be re-installed when the grass catcher bag is removed.
