OPERATION
To help keep the hedge uniform andhealthy
(Fig. 4)
• Always trim the hedge so the branches are exposed to the air, sun, and
adequate moisture.
• Trim the top slightly narrower than the bottom, or trim the sides straight up.
• Do not trim the hedge wider at the top than the bottom.
WARNING:
Do not use the hedge trimmer in rain or in wet locations, or
to cut wet hedges or shrubbery. Do not use the
hedge trimmer if the blades are bent. Wear non-skid footwear while operating the hedge trimmer.
WARNING:
Do not place your hands near the front or near the blade until the hedge trimmer is completely stopped. Always
allow several seconds for the blade to stop its reciprocating motion after turning the switches off.
