II.B Calibration Mode

1. With the scale off, hold down the
key while pressing the
key three times. Release the
key. The scale should be
displaying the internal counts.
2. Press the
key to zero the counts.
3. Select either pounds or grams by pressing the
key.
4. Place either 10 pounds or 5 kilograms on the scale platform. The
counts should read 5000 to 9000 for pounds or 5000 to 10,000 for
grams.
5. Press the
key. The display will read “Cal” for about four sec-
onds.
6. The scale should return to normal operating mode and display the
calibration weight.
7. Remove the weight from the scale platform. The display should
indicate zero pounds or grams.
