PERIODIC MAINTENANCE AND MINOR REPAIR

If a fuse is blown, replace it as follows.

NOTE:

Include steps 2–4 and 8–9 only for the
fuses in the fuse box.

1. Turn the key to “OFF” and turn off

the electrical circuit in question.

2. Remove the quick fasteners by

pushing the center in with a screw-
driver, then pulling the fastener
out.

3. Loosen and remove the quick fas-

tener screws, and then slide the
areas of the cowling shown for-
ward.

4. Pull the cowling away from the

motorcycle as shown.

5. Remove the blown fuse, and then

install a new fuse of the specified
amperage.
