The Quick Edit EG parameters can produce some interesting effects. Raising EG SUSTAIN above its midpoint
causes filtering to be applied are then gradually released, producing a continually varying timbre. But setting

EG DECAY all the way down at the same time will eliminate the timbre change, resulting in a strings padding sound.
