CHECKING THE EXHAUST GAS AT IDLE

( Measuring the exhaust gas at idle(when air in-
duction system is operation))

1. Stand the scooter on a level surface.

NOTE:

Place the scooter on a suitable stand.

Make sure the scooter is upright.

2. Install:

pocket tester

(onto the engine oil drain bolt)

engine tachometer

(onto the spark plug lead )

3. Start the engine and warm it up until the speci-

fied oil temperature is reached.
