CHECKING THE CARBURETOR JOINT
AND INTAKE MANIFOLD

1. Remove:

front cowling (right)
Refer to “REMOVING THE FRONT COWL-
INGS”.

2. Check:

carburetor joint

intake manifold

Cracks/damage

→

Replace.

Refer to “CARBURETOR” in chapter 5.

3. Install:

front cowling (right)
Refer to “INSTALLING THE FRONT COWL-
INGS”.

CHECKING THE FUEL AND VACUUM
HOSES

The following procedure applies to all of the fuel
and vacuum hoses.

1. Remove:

front cowling (left)
Refer to “REMOVING THE FRONT COWL-
INGS”.

2. Check:

fuel cock vacuum hose

fuel hose

Cracks/damage

→

Replace.

Loose connection

→

Connect properly.

3. Install:
