Key Sensor Adjustment
A)
Measurement of All Keys
1) Start-up
Turn on the power switch while pressing the three lowest F#0 (10), G#0 (12), and A#0 (14) keys, and release the keys in
two seconds. (Fig. 1)
A tone will be sounded at regular two-second intervals. (Waiting mode)
Wait for about 30 seconds until the key sensor is stabilized.
2) Start of rest value reading
Depress the damper pedal.
Two successive tones will be sounded at regular one-second intervals.
If the tone does not change, wait a moment; then, repeat the procedure.
Then, the mode will change to the rest value reading mode.
3) Rest value reading
Confirm that the key is in the rest position.
If it is not, adjust the key to the rest position.
4) Fixing the rest value
Depress the damper pedal.
The rest value of the key will be fixed and three successive tones will be sounded at regular one-second intervals.
Then, the mode will change to the end value reading mode.
5) End value reading
Press the keys lightly one by one in order as far as to the end position.
(The same key may be pressed more than once because the minimum value is internally memorized.)
6) Fixing the end value
Depress the damper pedal.
The end values of keys will be fixed and a tone will be sounded at regular two-second intervals.
7) Flash memory writing
Depress the soft pedal.
The tone will die away and writing will start.
The writing will be completed in about 10 seconds; then, the high tone will sound three times.
(If the writing fails, the error key is shown by NG key sound between alternating high tones “re” and “do”.)
Turn off the power switch to finish the operation.
