Control unit
[PHONES] jacks (page 15)
For connecting a pair of headphones (stereo
mini plug). Up to two headphones can be
connected.
USB [TO DEVICE] terminal (page 25)
For connecting a USB flash drive or a USB
wireless LAN adaptor.

] (Standby/On) switch (page 14)
For turning the power on or setting to standby.
[Rec] button (page 22)
For setting the unit to recording standby status.
The lamp indicates the recording status.

] (Play/Stop) button (page 23)
For alternately playing back and stopping the
preset Songs or your recorded performance.
The lamp indicates the playback status.
[Metronome] button (page 19)
For controlling the metronome. The lamp
indicates the metronome status.
[Func.] button (page 33)
For making settings of various functions.
[VOICE/VALUE] control
Rotating this allows you to select desired Voices
or adjust the setting values. Pressing this
control resets the Voice or setting values.
[VOLUME] control (page 16)
For adjusting the volume of the entire sound
output from the [PHONES] jack.
[DC IN 16V] jack (page 14)
(Upright piano) For connecting the power
cord. This is connected to the DC IN jack on
the rear of the piano when the instrument is
shipped.
(Grand piano) For connecting the supplied AC
adaptor.
[SENSOR] jack
(For qualified Yamaha personnel only.) This
connects to the sensor. The plug is already
connected when the instrument is shipped.
[AUX IN] jack (page 30)
For connecting an audio device such as a
portable music player by using an audio cable
with stereo mini plugs.
USB [TO HOST] terminal (page 31)
For connecting to a computer or a smart
device.
