Installing the driver

First, install the driver for the USB cable.
When using Windows 8/Windows 8.1, it is necessary to disable the driver 
signature enforcement.
The following describes how to install the driver by using operations with 
Windows 8.1 as an example.

Start Windows and click [Settings] on the charm bar.

Move the mouse cursor to the upper right or lower right portion of the screen and 
click [Settings] on the charm bar.
