FRONT AND REAR BRAKE

4. Remove:

Pistons

Dust seals 

??

Piston seals 

Remove steps:

*Blow compressed air into the tube joint

opening to force out the piston from the
caliper body.

??

Never try to pry out the piston.

??

Cover the piston with a rag. Use care so that

piston does not cause injury as it is expelled
from the cylinder.

Rear brake

1. Remove:

Bolts (brake caliper)

??

Retaining bolts

??

Brake pads (with 

??

Brake spring

Refer to “BRAKE PAD REPLACEMENT”

section.

2. Remove:

??

Union bolt 

??

Copper washers 

??

Brake hose 

Place the open hose end into a container

and pump the old fluid out carefully.

3. Remove:

??

Pistons 

??

Dust seals 

 Piston seals 

Do not loosen the bridge bolts 

  .
