Throttle Cable Free Play

(Throttle Grip)

Tighten the locknut

NOTE:

Normally, once the throttle cable length adjuster
(carburetor) is properly set; the only adjustment

required is maintenance of free play at the

throttle cable length adjuster (Throttle grip).

SPARK PLUG INSPECTION

1. Inspect:

Electrode

Wear/ Damage-t Replace.

*Insulator color

Normal condition is a medium to light tan

color.

Distinctly different

the engine

condition.

Spark plug gap

2. Clean:

plug

Clean the spark plug with a spark plug
cleaner or wire brush.

3. Inspect:
