The
manual
starter
handle
is
used
to
crank
Engine
stop
button
and
start
the
engine.
The
engine
stop
button
stops
the
engine
when
the
button
is
pushed.
Main
switch
The
main
switch
controls
the
ignition
system;
its
operation
is
described
below.

the
main
switch
in
the

posi-
tion,
the
electrical
circuits
are
off,
and
the
key
can
be
removed.

With
the
main
switch
in
the

(on)
position,
the
electrical
circuits
are
on,
and
the
key
can-
not
be
removed.

(start)
Choke
knob
for
pull
type
To
supply
the
engine
with
the
rich
fuel
mixture
required
to
start,
pull
out
this
knob.
With
the
main
switch
in
the
“
”
(start)
po-
sition,
the
starter
motor
turns
to
start
the
en-
gine.
When
the
key
is
released,
it
returns
automatically
to
the
“
”
(on)
position.
