Wireless Connection with
Marine FX Speakers

This Subwoofer is designed to connect with one or a pair of
ECOXGEAR Marine FX Speakers, creating a complete audio
system. In order to transmit music to the Marine FX Speakers,
complete the following steps:

1.

Power on your Marine FX Speaker(s). If you choose to
pair both Marine FX Speakers, allow the two speakers to
complete the EcoConnect pairing process. (Refer to your
Marine FX Speakers user guide for details).

2. Press the Bluetooth button

on one of the Marine FX

Speakers, putting it into pairing mode.

3. Press Bluetooth Transmit button

on the subwoofer.

The Transmit icon will flash.

4. Available Bluetooth connections shall appear on the

subwoofer LCD screen. Use the

or

buttons to

select ECOXGEAR from the list of discovered devices,
if needed. Press

OK

to connect. Wait for a few seconds

until the connection is completed. The Transmit icon will
stop flashing and the Marine FX Speaker will announce,
“Connection successful.”

5. Pair your subwoofer to your smartphone.

NOTE:

The default wireless connection setting is <TWO

Speakers>. If only one speaker is connected to the subwoofer,

PRESS & HOLD

 both

and buttons for approximately

5

seconds until <ONE Speaker> appears on the LCD screen.

Connecting With Bluetooth:
Connect To Your Smart Device & Play Audio

When your subwoofer is turned on, the Bluetooth icon

on

the LCD Display will flash, indicating that it is ready to pair.

Turn on Bluetooth on your Bluetooth device (Smart Device)
and set the device in pairing mode. Available Bluetooth
connections shall appear. Select SUB-ECOXGEAR from the
list of discovered devices on your Bluetooth device. Wait for a
few seconds until the connection is completed.

NOTE:

Bluetooth connection feature is found in the

Settings section of most mobile phones and other
Bluetooth enabled devices.

When the SUB-ECOXGEAR selection is made and the
Bluetooth connection is completed, the Bluetooth icon will
stop flashing.

Pairing Mode

If the Bluetooth icon is not flashing or if you wish to place your
subwoofer in pairing mode, press and release the Bluetooth
button

on the top panel. The Bluetooth icon will flash on

the LCD Display, indicating that the subwoofer is ready to pair.

NOTE:

Your subwoofer shall sync & wirelessly pair with

most Bluetooth enabled devices. The unit remembers the
last device paired and will automatically search for previous
connections when the subwoofer is turned on or when a
device comes back into Bluetooth range. If a connection is
lost due to range, the subwoofer will look to re-establish that
connection. If Bluetooth is turned off on your Smart Device,
the subwoofer may not automatically look for the device.
