Dimming the display screen
Use to adjust the brightness of the front panel display.
•
Press
DIMMER
repeatedly to select the desired
brightness from the following options:
DIM 1: 70% brightness
DIM 2: 40% brightness
DIM OFF: normal brightness
To cancel the dimmer settings
•
Press
DIMMER
repeatedly to select “DIMMER
OFF”.
→
“DIMMER OFF” appears in the front panel
display.

Setting the sleep timer
Use this feature to automatically set this DVD receiver
to the standby mode after a specified time period. The
sleep timer is useful if you are going to sleep after a
certain amount of time while this DVD receiver is still
playing back a source.

Press
SLEEP
repeatedly to set the amount of time for
sleep timer.
→
“SLEEP XX” appears in the front panel display
(XX: 15, 30, 45, 60 or OFF).

Wait for few seconds without operating this DVD
receiver to confirm the setting for the sleep time.
→
“SLEEP” appears in the front panel display.
→
Countdown of 10 seconds is displayed before this
DVD receiver switches to standby mode.

“SLEEP 2”
→
“SLEEP 1”
To cancel the sleep timer

Press
SLEEP
repeatedly to select “SLEEP OFF”.
