Sound production stops when returning to selection screen with the [CLICK ON/OFF] button.

EQ Mid frequency check (outputs about 523Hz (C4) sine wave tone)

For factory test use only.

Sound production stops when returning to the selection screen by pressing the [CLICK ON/OFF] button.

EQ High frequency check (outputs about 4186Hz (C7) sine wave tone)

For factory test use only.

Sound production stops when returning to the selection screen by pressing the [CLICK ON/OFF] button.

Panel switch, LED check

Press the [TRANSPOSE] switch first, and then press the panel switches one after another

toward the right in order. A pre-assigned note is output when the switch is pressed. (See Table

1 of p.32) With some switches, the corresponding LED will light up. After all switches are

pressed, 7-seg. LED will display “

”.

Lighting check of all LEDs on the panel

Check that all LEDs on the panel light up.

Lighting check of red LEDs on the panel

Check that all red LEDs on the panel light up.

Lighting check of amber LEDs on the panel

Check that all amber LEDs on the panel light up.

AUX pedal check

Connect the foot pedal FC3 to the FOOT PEDAL [AUX] jack. When the test is executed, the

C3 note sounds and when the pedal is depressed, the C4 tone sounds. Relese the pedal and

check that sound production stops and the 7-seg. LED displays “

”. Disconnect the foot

pedal FC3 after the test.

SUSTAIN pedal check

Connect the foot pedal FC3 to the FOOT PEDAL [SUSTAIN] jack. When the test is executed,

the C3 note sounds and when the pedal is depressed, the C4 tone sounds. Relese the pedal and

check that sound production stops and the 7-seg. LED displays “

PAs

”. Disconnect the foot

pedal FC3 after the test.

Pitch bend check

Execute the test. When the pitch bend wheel is turned forward (DOWN), the C3 tone sounds

and when it is turned the other way (UP), the G3 tone sounds. Take the hand off the wheel and

check that the 7-seg. LED displays “

”.

Sound production stops when returning to the selection screen by pressing the [CLICK ON/OFF] button.

Modulation check

Before starting the test, set the modulation wheel at the center position. Execute the test.

When the modulation wheel is turned forward (DOWN), the C3 tone sounds, when it is turned

the other way (UP), the G3 tone sounds and when it is returned forward (DOWN), the C3 tone

sounds. Check that the 7-seg. LED displays “

”.
