1. Preparation
To check the unit using the test program, the following measuring instruments and jigs will be required:
Level meter (IHF- C curve)
Frequency counter
Notes: Impedance must be 1Mohm or above.
Use stereo plugs, and connect 33 ohm load at PHONES terminal.

2. How to enter the Test Program
While depressing the [C2#], [F2] and [G2#] keys, turn the power switch ON.
3. Proceeding through the Test Program
The LED will display "TST" when the test program is entered.
To select the program number, press the [TEMPO +/-] button.
To start the test, press the [START / STOP] button.
The LED will display "PAS" if the test result is OK.
To proceed to the next test, press the [START / STOP] button again.
The LED will display "nG" if the test result is NG.
Press the [DEMO] button to proceed to the next test.

Checks all ROMs which are connected to CPU.

Checks all RAMs which are connected to CPU.

Checks the wave ROM.
11 T11: TG1 Check
Outputs the sine wave by changing the channels (1 ch - 32 ch) in sequence from F3 to C6.
When a voice switch is depressed, the tone of the voice will sound. After autoscaling is
finished, individual keys can be played. (If playing two or more keys simultaneously, the
key pressed first takes priority. )
12 T12: TG2 Check
Outputs the sine wave by changing the channels (33 ch - 64 ch) in sequence from F3 to C6.

13 T13: PICH Check
Connect the frequency counter to the [PHONES] terminal.
Check that the 441.0 +/- 0.2 Hz sine wave is output.

Check output level (1 kHz) .
AUX OUT L / L + R: Less than - 60 dBm
AUX OUT R: - 12 dBm +/- 2 db
PHONES L: Less than - 50 dBm, PHONES R: - 15 dBm +/- 2 db
