6. Removal of PU Mechanism Unit
a. Remove 2 screws (

) and then remove the PU
Unit Ass'y as shown Fig. 6.
b. Remove 4 screws (

) and then remove the PU
Mechanism Unit as shown in Fig. 7.

Operation Check Procedure

Disassembly
1) Remove the top cover.
2) Remove the Clamp Ass'y.
3) Remove the stabilizer from the Holder.
Turn the Plate clockwise by 30
°
while holding
the Stabilizer, and the Plate will come off.
Remove the Stabilizer from the Holder.

Clamp the disc by using the stabilizer.
e
Set to the TEST mode and check for any
faulty conditions.
