Locking RailRider 2
Drilled tab on rail plates and
depression in bases MUST face
inboard on vehicle roof.
Tighten the short bolts against
the metal strip while holding it in
position.
Place the metal
strip against the
inside of the rail.
The bolt threads must nest
as
shown before they are
tightened.
Insert LONG bolts and washers
into the base, engaging rail plates.
TIGHTEN the long bolts.
Install shorter
bolts into the
rail plates.
TOP VIEW:
IMPORTANT!
Base depression
and open holes
go on same side.
Angle the
base onto
the tracks.
With lever OPEN,
slide bases off.
Once you have determined your crossbar
spread, measure for equal distances on both
sides of the vehicle.
NOTE:
Crossbar spread
or tower location is
determined by what you will carry.
Open the
tower levers
using a key.
