Integrated Peripherals Submenu
The Integrated Peripherals Submenu is used to configure the COM ports, parallel
ports, and enable/disable the diskette and enhanced IDE controllers.

Option
Description
UART1 Port
Allows the COM port address and IRQ levels to be modified or disabled.
UART2 Port
Allows the COM port address and IRQ levels to be modified or disabled.
Parallel Port
Sets a unique address and interrupt request for the LPT port. “Auto” selects the next available
combination. You can choose to disable this option.
Parallel Port Mode
Configures the LPT port. Choices are “Bi-directional” and “Standard Mode.”
Diskette Controller
Enables or disables the on-board floppy disk controller.
Local Bus IDE Adapter
Enables or disables the local bus IDE adapter.
UART 2 Mode
Sets the interface to “Standard,” “ASKIR,” or “IrDA.”
