Oral Application Guidelines
It is possible that some minor gum bleeding occurs with healthy gums during
the first 1-2 weeks of application due to sensitive periodontal areas.
Periodontal or other disease may be indicated if bleeding continues after 2
weeks of use. In this case, stop using the device and consult a dentist.
If your physician advised you to receive antibiotic premedication before
dental procedures, you should consult your dentist before using this
instrument.
1. Lean over the sink, aim the nozzle towards your
teeth and press the on/off button to turn on the device. Do not tilt the device
too much and ensure that the water hose remains contact with water in the
tank.
2. Start with the molar area (the back teeth) and move along the gumline
toward the front teeth, pausing briefly between each tooth. Continue until
all areas around and between the teeth have been cleaned.
3. When cleaning, hold the nozzle at a 90-degree
angle to your gumline. Keep your mouth partially closed to avoid splashing, but
allow water to spill from your mouth into the sink.
4. Do not direct the stream toward periodontal pockets except using the
periodontal nozzle.
5. Empty any remaining water from the reservoir
between uses. Drain the device by operating it for 3 seconds with an empty
reservoir.
Note:
The device will automatically shut off after 2 minutes of continuous operation to
avoid excessive gum cleaning which may cause damage.
Charging
To maximize the battery life:
- Charge it for 13-14 hours before first use.
- Fully charge it once per month when not in use.
- Charge it immediately when the battery is low (the bottom indicator light
