OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
•
Avoid dropping the device on the ground and contact with sharp objects and heat sources.
In particular, avoid any damage to the window of the laser beam.
•
Never cover the laser device with other objects or substances while it is running.
•
Never point the beam directly into the eyes of other persons or animals!
• If you use the device in temperatures lower than -10 ̊ C or higher than 50 ̊ C, the
performance of the device may decrease or it may be irreversibly damaged.
• Protect the laser device from water. The device has IP54 protection and is thus protected
from all angles against the ingress of dust particles and water splashing.
• The laser device may only be operated and used by persons who have familiarized with
all the instructions stated in this user manual, with demonstrable and sufficient
qualifications and in compliance with all safety instructions and regulations applied at the
time.
ERROR CODES AND TROUBLESHOOTING
If an error code appears on the display, the table below will help you with identification and problem
solving.

The batteries are almost
empty.
Replace the batteries.
Err15 Device range exceeded. Approach the target.
Err16 The signal is too weak.
Use a target with a lighter
surface. Do not move the
device during the
measurement.
Err18
The ambient brightness is too
high.
Use a target with a darker
surface.
STORAGE
Store the device and all its components in a clean, dry and safe place out of the reach of children
and other unauthorized persons. Do not store the device in places exposed to direct sunlight.
Avoid storing the device at temperatures below 0 °C and above 40 °C. When stored in unsuitable
conditions, the service life of individual parts and the entire product may be reduced.
