ELECTRIC TOOL HANDLING AND MAINTANCE
A circular saw is a tool designated for wood, plastic and dry wool construction cutting.
Never use the saw for metal, concrete or stone materials. Make sure to always follow all
instructions within this manual in order to maintain safe working conditions. The
producer or supplier is not responsible for any defects caused by improper manipulation
with the tool.
Prior to operation
-
Make sure to always disconnect the power cord from a power supply prior to any service,
adjusting or maintenance.
-
Check if the saw disc diameter, thickness, rotation and other parameters suit the tool properly.
-
Set the main switch to the 'OFF' position prior to connecting the tool to a power supply.
-
Cut in an uniform motion in order to increase the tool and saw disc lifetime.
-
Use sharpened saw discs only. Do not use deformed or cracked saw discs. Do not use saw discs
with missing or damaged teeth.
-
Never block the movable saw disc cover and its functionality. Make sure the cover is always able
to move freely. Do not secure the cover in an open position.
-
Approach the tool to the material only when the saw disc reaches proper working rotation speed.
-
Do not try to cut very small objects.
-
Never stop the saw disc with a reverse or side pressure.
-
It is necessary to use a dust evacuation device when working with a material producing a higher
amount of dust. The tool is not designated for materials containing asbestos.
-
Do not force the tool. Do not create an excessive tool pressure to avoid a saw disc and tool
damage. Stop the work to relax frequently.
-
Always avoid contacting the tool power cord with the saw disc.
-
Do not touch grounded metal objects (pipes, boilers etc.) when operating the tool to reduce a risk
of an electric shock injury.
-
This electric tool is not designated for working in areas with higher humidity and shall not be used
near flammable, explosive and caustic substances.
-
Protect the tool from rain, snow, fog etc.
-
Wear protective hearing and eyesight protection.
Warning
It is strictly recommended to use the saw discs designated specifically for this tool type only. Always use
the proper technical parameters of the tool disc. Using spacer rings is prohibited. Prior to installing the
saw disc, make sure the saw disc maximal rotation speed is the same or higher than the maximal rotation
speed of the tool. Never use the tool with a grinding disc or high-speed steel disc. Do not use cracked or
deformed discs.
Cutting depth adjustment
For achieving a clean cut, we recommend adjusting a cutting depth in the way that the saw disc exceeds
the material thickness by a tooth height.
Cutting angle adjustment
The circular saw allows operating in the angle range between 0 to 45° from the vertical direction.
Ruller
It is recommended to use the ruller when cutting parallel to the edge of the material. The front side notches
indicate the cutting area.
Turning ON
Make sure that the voltage suits the parameters stated in the technical specification of the tool and connect
the tool to a power supply. Depress the switch lock and the trigger.
