7.1 GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS FOR WORK WITH THE LI-ION BATTERY CHARGER

Charge only the appropriate Li-Ion battery specified by the manufacturer.

Do not charge the batteries outside the specified ambient temperature range of approx. 5-
40 °C. Failure to follow this instruction may irreversibly damage the batteries and/or cause
personal injury or damage to property.

Do not use the charger in continuous operation. With one charging cycle completed, wait
at least 10-15 minutes before starting another one.

Do not move the charger by holding the power cord. To pull the charger out of the mains
socket, use the fork of the power cord.

Always remove the battery from the charging slot before checking, cleaning or storing the
charger.

Never cover the air vents of the charger. Failure to comply with this instruction may result
in damage to the device.

When not in use, store the charger in a dry place at room temperature or slightly cooler
and out of reach of children.

Do not alter the charger in any way or remove any screws, external or internal components.

Always make sure that the voltage value on the label of the device corresponds to the
mains voltage.

Never deliberately short-circuit the batteries. Always try to actively prevent the battery from
short-circuit. There is a risk of overheating and irreversible damage to the battery or burns.

Never throw the device or batteries into fire or expose it to a direct heat source.

Do not insert any foreign objects into the battery charging slot or battery vents. Failure to
follow this instruction may result in damage to the equipment and/or risk of electric shock.

Before connecting the battery to the charger, make sure the contacts in the charger slot
and on the battery base are clean and dry.

With the charging process completed, remove the battery from the charger.
8. CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
CAUTION!

Always ensure that the battery is removed from the device before inspecting, storing,
cleaning or performing any maintenance on the device.

If you are going to store or take the device out of use, always remove the battery from it
and keep it in a safe place out of the reach of children.
Never use gasoline, thinners or other alcohol-based agents for cleaning and mechanical
maintenance. This may lead to the discoloration, deformation or cracking of components.
To ensure the safety and reliability of the product, all repairs, warranty and post-warranty service
and necessary operations related to maintenance may only be carried out by an authorised service
centre and exclusively using original spare parts. If you have any questions or if repairs are
required, please contact the dealer from whom you purchased the product.
