Upgrade
Browse to locate the new firmware or driver file for the upgrade item, and click ‘Upgrade’ button to proceed,
Switch Firmware
Upgrade the XL-HB14128M management firmware—the OS of XL-HB14128M. The switch will reboot after
upgrade.
Switch HomePNA Driver
Upgrade all XL-HB14128M HomePNA ports driver for the onboard HomePNA Chipset device, may treat it as device
driver for XL-HB14128M. The switch will reboot after upgrade.
HomePNA Driver for EP -- Endpoint
This is the first step in the 2 stages procedure for EP driver upgrade:
1. Upload EP HomePNA driver onto XL-HB14128M internal RAM.
2. Wait to upgrade the selected EP by XL-HB14128M itself.
The second step can be accomplished by the following “EP Management” function. The EP HomePNA driver stored in
XL-HB14128M’s RAM will vanish after rebooting XL-HB14128M.
NOTE: Work for HomePNA Ethernet Bridge only (as XL-HB128M), can’t work for USB adapter (as XL-HU128M).
Endpoint (EP) Management
Click the digit denoted ‘Port number’ on the web page will list all connected EP’s at current port. Here the ‘NA’ means
‘EP HomePNA driver’ is not available yet in XL-HB14128M RAM – you need to upload it onto the XL-HB14128M
first by ‘Upgrade’ function.
