3. Volume up:
a. Press this button shortly to increase the volume.
b. Press and hold to go to the next song.
4. Power/mode button:
a. Press and hold the circular button to turn the speaker on/off or to
connect to
Bluetooth
®
mode.
A voice will indicate your speaker has been paired to a wireless device.
Note: The unit will shut off after approximately ten minutes of inactivity if
it's not connected to the
Bluetooth
®
device. An audible voice will
indicate when the speaker has paired with your smart device or when
it's been disconnected.
b. Press it shortly to toggle through the different light options.
c. Click it twice to select a mode: Aux, USB drive, microSD™
card or Bluetooth.
5. USB port:
Use it to play audio files stored in a USB flash drive.
6. Auxiliary input port:
Allows the connection of any device equipped with an auxiliary 3.5mm
audio connector (for wired playback).
7. DC 5V micro-USB charging port:
Charges the speaker’s built-in battery.
8. microSD™ memory card port:
Allows music playback from compatible media files stored in a
microSD™ memory card.
9. Microphone.
IV. Charging the speaker
• To charge the battery, first plug the micro-USB end of the supplied charging
cable in the speaker charging port, and the other end in the USB port of your
computer or AC adapter.
• The battery will take about 2 hours and 40 minutes to fully charge.
• While charging, the LED light indicator (located in the rear connection panel)
will blink in alternating red and blue colors if the speaker is on. If it’s off, the
light will turn red. When the battery is fully charged, the LED light will turn off.
Note: Make sure that your SUONO speaker is fully charged before using it for
the first time.
V. Pairing your speaker with a
Bluetooth
®
compatible device
Please, follow these steps:
1. Make sure the speaker is off.
2. Set your Bluetooth
®
phone to “discover” compatible devices.
3. Place both devices not more than three feet away from each other.
4. Turn ON the speaker by pressing and holding the Power button. The blue LED
starts blinking, accompanied by a short tone, to indicate that the device has
entered into the pairing mode and is ready to be detectable.
5. On your mobile phone, tap the newly discovered audio device (XTS-616)
displayed in the
Bluetooth
®
list.
6. If you have a lower Bluetooth
®
version, you may be prompted to enter the
passkey 0000 (4 zeros).
7. If pairing is successful, you’ll hear a voice that says “connected” and the LED
will turn solid blue. If after 60 seconds the pairing process fails, please repeat
steps 1 through 6 described above.
