If you have an existing inflator
on your BC, remove it.
a. If it is clamped with one
or two disposable tie wraps,
carefully snip them with side
cutter pliers, avoiding contact
with the corrugated hose.
b. Pull or twist the inflator
from the corrugated hose.
NOTE: In some cases,
the inflator may be glued in
place with rubber cement.
If this is the case, work a
screwdriver or similar flat tool
under the hose to break the
glue bond.
c. Your BC airway may have
an internal cable attached to
