Deactivating the GPS Receiver
If you are indoors or do not require the GPS receiver to be active you
can turn it off from the general settings menu. You can also Reset
the receiver to drop all active GPS channels and reacquire GPS
satellite signals. If the Xplova G5 is unable to fix your current
position, reset the GPS receiver.
Note:If the Xplova G5 does not detect a GPS signal after two min-
utes, it prompts you to either continue searching for a signal,
continue in silent mode, or turn off the GPS receiver. Silent
mode keeps the receiver actively searching for a GPS signal but
does not display the prompt.
