Increasing Dual Rate settings:
Stock the dual rate settings are programmed to switch between 80% and 100 %. So a beginner doesn't need to
change anything, just keep the D/R switch in up position and you have 80%. When feeling more confident, try
100, DR switch down. If feeling like needing more speed and agility, alter high setting from 100 to 125 for roll and
elevator. Yaw I'd leave at 100%, it gets a little less smooth at 125.
There are 4 channels that are each linked to a stick axis. 3 is throttle, and is adjusted with T(hrottle)-curve. 4 is
yaw, and 1 and 2 are elevator and roll. When adjusting DR you will want to concentrate on channels 1 & 2.
- Set "D"/R" switch to down position
- Press and hold the "mode" button till the numbers "123456" start flashing on the display, as well as "Reverse"
- Rotate the rotary dial on the right in clockwise direction to the position where the word "D/R will be flashing on
the display
- Press the rotary dial, and the first number, "1" will start flashing, as well as a "100"
- Rotate the dial until the channel you want to alter is selected
- Press down on the rotary dial so only the selected number is flashing, and rotate the dial until the desired value
is reached
- Move the stick in both directions and verify that both directions show the newly set value. If not, move the stick
in the direction that shows the old value, and adjust with the rotary dial
- Press down on the rotary dial to get back to the previous screen. If needed you can rotate the dial to select
another channel number to adjust, press down on the dial, and rotate to adjust the value of that channel.
- Once you have altered all channels you wished to change dual rate settings for, press the back button once. You
can now check if the settings are working, by selecting each of the 3 channels, 1, 2 and 4, and operate the D/R
switch. You should see the blinking number on the right of the display change with the switch position, like for
instance between "80" and "100" in nothing has been adjusted yet, or in my case, between "80" and "125"
- Once satisfied with the adjustments, press the back button 2 times, to exit the menu
Note: It is possible to set different value for dual rate in each direction! When you have the channel selected, and
press the rotary dial to adjust, you need to move the stick in the direction you want to adjust. Default is right or up
direction. so when you don't select down or left, you only adjust the setting for one direction.
