Mirroring
In order to mirror a NetDisk to another NetDisk, both NetDisk has to be
unplugged
and have a
Write Key
. Detailed explanation of unplugging and
Write Key are listed in the steps below.
The purpose of mirroring is to continuously create and save a copy of data in
one NetDisk to another NetDisk, in real time, whenever a new data is written
to the NetDisk.
NOTE:
A NetDisk which you are saving the data to must be larger than the
NetDisk you are copying the data from. This must always hold true.
Otherwise, the NetDisk you are saving the data to may run out of space.
1. Click
Start
> Program > NetDisk > NetDisk Aggregation & Mirroring
NetDisk Aggregation & Mirroring
window displays all the NetDisk
installed and registered in your computer.
Mirroring can proceed only if two or more NetDisk are registered in the
computer.
If two or more NetDisk are listed on the
NetDisk Aggregation &
Mirroring
window, continue to the next step. Otherwise, go to
Add
NetDisk
on 28 to add more NetDisk.
