Setting the ECU to your transmitter
Connect the ECU battery, turn on your transmitter and receiver, connect your
display and follow these steps:
Always programme the receiver failsafe to IDLE or STOP
Never fly a turbine aircraft with the receiver failsafe set to ‘hold’ as this will
prevent the engine from being shut down in a failsafe situation

Connecting the engine
Use the 4mm pipe to connect the filter supplied between fuel tank
and pump inlet, the ring on filter denotes outlet side to pump.
Connect pump to engine with 4mm pipe.
Connect engine cable to engine and the small connector board
(Hub). Connect receiver throttle channel to the Hub rx input, note
orientation of these cables. Connect the fuel pump Hub outlet to the
fuel pump. Connect display to the other Hub connection. The ECU
battery is connected last by plugging into the Hub, but do the radio
setup before connecting the ECU battery.
Ensure engine and accessories are properly installed and
connected. If a tailpipe is fitted, secure in position with 25mm gap
between exhaust outlet and tailpipe, excluding bellmouth.
Turn on transmitter and receiver.
Plug in display - screen shows “Trim Low”
To initiate start, raise trim to full, (screen shows “Ready”). Stick to full
and back down quickly.
The igniter will be powered (screen shows “Burner On”).
The igniter will heat and, after some seconds, the starter will spin the
engine slowly and the pump will turn on.
You should hear combustion starting in engine and see a
temperature rise on the display. (Screen shows “Ignition”)
After some seconds the engine speed will increase, the valve
pulsing switches over to the main fuel and the engine will accelerate
towards idle. (Screen shows “Switchover” then “Fuel Ramp”)
Starter turns off as engine passes 50k RPM.
Engine arrives at idle at 60k, (screen shows “Running”).
The start can be terminated at any time by lowering the
stick and trim to zero.
