Installing Windows Printer Drivers
Resolve DNS
Select to use the device DNS name for identification if available.
Local Search Type
Select one or more of the following search methods:
LPT Search.
USB Search.
Net Search.
PDL to use
Install drivers that support one or more of the following PDLs:
PostScript.
PCL 5e.
PCL 6.
Port Value
Enter the IP address, DNS name, or UNC name of the printer to install.
Single Instance Only
Select to prevent multiple copies of the printer definition from installing on a client. This option
allows you to automate printer deployment by incorporating the installation in a login script.
Save the Configuration
Script file to
Enter the location to save the configuration script file. If this location matches the path entered in the
opening screen, the wizard only saves changes to the XeroxInstallerAdmin.xml file. Otherwise, the
wizard copies the entire contents of the original path to the path specified here.
