Printer Console Messages

The printer console provides you with information and troubleshooting help. When an error or warning
condition occurs, the printer console displays a message informing you of the problem. For more
information, see

SimpleMonitor Alerts

SimpleMonitor is a tool that is included on the

Software Pack CD-ROM

. It automatically checks the printer

status when you send a print job. If the printer is unable to print your job, SimpleMonitor automatically
displays an alert on your computer screen to let you know that the printer needs attention.
