CAUTION
: If the telephone exchange the fax machine is inserted on is of the type
with multiple sockets in series, then the telephone cord must be plugged
into the primary socket.
3.1.7 Connecting the Handset
Insert the handset cord into the fax machine socket bearing the corresponding
symbol, then place the handset in its cradle.
