Avoid food or drinks in the area where paper is stored or handled.
•
Do not open sealed packages of paper until you are ready to load them into the printer. Leave
stored paper in the original packaging. The paper wrapper protects the paper from moisture loss or
gain.
•
Some special media is packaged inside resealable plastic bags. Store the media inside the bag until
you are ready to use it. Keep unused media in the bag and reseal it for protection.
Paper Tips Page
You can print a Paper Tips page that provides a list of all supported paper types and sizes for each paper
tray. The Paper Tips page also provides details about 1-sided or 2-sided printing options that are
available for various paper and media types.
To print the Paper Tips page:
1.
At the printer control panel, to navigate to the Information Menu, use the arrows, then press
OK
.
2.
Navigate to Information Pages, then press
OK
.
3.
To print the Paper Tips page, navigate to it, then press
OK
.
