Your
Phaser
6180,
6180MFP
and
Phaser
6130
printers
will
support
IPv4
and
IPv6
protocols
with
the
Multi
‐
Protocol
Network
card
(MPC).
You
can
configure
your
IPv4
/
IP46
protocols
using
your
CentreWare
IS
(CWIS)
web
page.
1.
Launch
your
web
browser.
2.
Enter
your
printer’s
IP
address
in
the
browser’s
Address
field.
You
will
see
the
home
page
for
the
printer.
3.
On
the
printer’s
home
page,
click
Properties
.
4.
On
the
Properties
tab,
under
Protocols
on
the
left
navigational
panel,
click
TCP/IP
.
Select
the
IP
Mode
setting
from
IPv4
,
IPv6
,
or
Dual
Stack
.
Dual
Stack
supports
both
IPv4
and
IPv6
.
The
IP
Mode
selected
determines
the
available
settings
on
the
TCP/IP
page.

pages
provided
with
CWIS
for
information
on
setting
the
rest
of
your
IPv4
and
IPv6
settings.
Note
:
You
can
set
the
IP
mode
from
the
front
panel
of
your
printer
but
most
property
settings
must
be
done
from
your
CWIS
web
page.

IPsec

IPSec
is
a
protocol
suite
used
for
securing
Internet
Protocol
(IP)
communications
by
authenticating
and/or
encrypting
each
IP
packet
in
a
data
stream.
IPSec
also
includes
protocols
for
cryptographic
key
establishment.
IPSec
can
be
implemented
as
part
of
a
company's
overall
security
policy.
