After three consecutive inverted readings, the strobe LED will be disabled, in the same way
water or light sense readings act on the strobe.

The strobe LED will flash at the rate set for the timer mode that the Apollo-X is currently
operating in, provided readings from other sensors do not prevent the operation, or a blocking
task. These would be:
•
The device detects that it is submerged via the water sensor
•
Detection of sufficient light via the light sensor
•
The Apollo-X finds itself to be inverted with the tilt sensor
•
The Iridium task is currently running
•
The device is in Low Battery mode
While the strobe’s repetition rate can be changed for
most timers using the
the repetition rate can also be changed
for a specific timer
using the
command; a
departure in operation from the original Apollo.
As noted above, the strobe is disabled during Low Battery mode. In this instance the
$timer
command must be used to prompt the strobe to run in this state. The number of flashes is
consistent between all timer modes and would also be implemented here.
