04. INSTALLATION

1. Select and clean a mounting location for the camera.
2. Mount the camera bracket.
3. Insert the memory card into the camera.
4. Place the camera in the camera mount.
5. Point the camera lens towards the roadway.
6. Connect the power adapter to the camera.
7. Route the power cable so that it does not obstruct your view while driving
(see picture E).
8. Plug the power adapter into the cigarette lighter socket of the car.

2. Connecting to the mobile application
a) For Android phone
• Click this icon in the phone interface, then enter the app connec -
tion interface and click „Connect”.
• The phone will enter the phone network setting interface. Find
the WiFi signal of the DVR, it’s like „Xblitz X6”, then click this WiFi,
enter the password: „12345678”.
• After entering the password, the connected message will appear.
The phone will display the message „The current WLAN does not
have Internet access. Do you want to continue using this WLAN?”
Click „Save”, then return to the application and it will enter the
recording interface.
b) For iPhone
• Open iPhone Wi-Fi settings, find the WiFi name of Xblitz X6 recor -
der, connect WiFi, the default password is 12345678.
• Go back to the main interface of the phone, open the app to use.
06. FUNCTIONS
1. If there is a recording icon in the upper left corner of the app screen and the
red dot is flashing, it means the recorder is recording. Tap the camera icon
at the bottom of the app to take a picture. (PS: The default video recording
