Warning
Before carrying out the installation, it is imperative that you carefully read and follow the instructions provided by
the manufacturer of the appliance (refrigerator), in order to avoid damage to property through water leakage.
If necessary, check that your water pressure is below 120 psi/8.27 bar (it is best to do this with the help of a
professional). Get a plumber or an authorised installer to carry out the installation if necessary.
1. First, turn off the main water line and disconnect the refrigerator from the mains supply.
2. Rotate the old water filter a quarter turn anticlockwise. Pull the filter straight out and dispose of it.
3. Push the new filter into the refrigerator as far as it will go. Rotate the filter a quarter turn clockwise.
4. Reset the ‘Change filter’ indicator if available.
5. Turn on the water supply.
6. Flush the filter in accordance with the appliance manufacturer’s guidelines (see operating instructions for
refrigerator).
Note
Installing a water filter cartridge can cause water to spurt out of the water dispenser for a short while.
This is due to air in the line. It does not give rise to any functional problems.
