Troubleshooting
Digital communications involve the simultaneous transfer and processing of large amounts of data. digital TV OTT
are “close relatives” to personal computers, and their lifestyle is somehow similar. That means that it may also
happen to OTT that it “hangs up” like a PC without prior warning and without a visible reason. If this should happen
please disconnect the unit from the wall outlet. After switching the OTT on again all function will be restored.
Problem
No Picture
No Audio
OTT fails to boot
Video freezes
Remote control does not work
Pre-programmed channel data do not load
Malfunction after update
Solution
■
Execute Factory reset or Check your internet Connection
■
See “Does not display any meessage on the front panel” below.
■
To match the OTT system with your TV system (PAL/NTSC)
Press TV Format "DISPLAY" Button until a picture is displayed.
■
Check the video output port is firmly connected to the TV or VCR.
■
Check that you have selected the video Input on your TV.
■
Check the brightness level of the TV.
■
Check the resolution that your TV supports, and set the proper
resolution with the remote Resolution button to obtain a picture.
■
Check the volume control and MUTE function
■
Check Audio Language
■
Check Main Audio language in menu.
■
Re-apply AC power
■
Contact A / S Center if this problem occurs continuously.
■
Internet Speed weak
■
Check Wi-Fi connection speed or Internet RJ45 cable connection
■
Aim the receiver front panel correctly. Get closer (below 7 meters)
■
Check if the battery of Remote Control is still good.
■
Execute the Factory reset re-installation process
■
Check the internet connection validity
■
Execute Factory Reset.
(This causes your previous settings to be deleted and default settings to be loaded.)
