Lift the boat
Only use lifting equipment suitable for your boat. See Lifting equipment, page
WARNING
• Be careful to take safety precautions near and around the boat when lifting.
• Do not stay under the boat when it is hanging in the crane.
CAUTION
• The outer layer of the craft is strong enough to resist the design pressure but not local damage from hitting hard
/ sharp objects. If the outer layer is damaged, it shall be repaired at once.
• Make sure the lift slings do not contact the rudder, propeller, or shaft while lifting force is applied.
Prepare the boat:
•
Make sure the rode is properly stowed inside the anchor box in the bow.
•
Drain the bilge water.
•
Remove unnecessary weight from the boat.
•
Secure all loose items on board.
•
Make sure the motor is disabled.
