Strip Operation
It is important to make sure control strips and reference strips used are from
the same batch number.
Always inspect control strips for damage before measuring. Care must also
be taken when handing strips. Fingerprints on measurable patches can affect
density values.
IMPORTANT!
When inserting strips into the instrument, there should be at
least a 30.5mm (1.25
”
) leader before the outside edge of the first measurable
target or the first target may not be detected. For information on measuring
leaderless strips (30.5mm), refer to your Control Strip and Balance Print
Format Guide, Section Five.
