INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE
• CHIN-GUARD OPENING SYSTEM
Note:
It is not necessary to open the chin-guard to wear the helmet.
1 OPENING
• When you are not wearing the helmet
1.1 Take the helmet as shown in figure 1.
1.2 Push with your thumbs the two red opening levers rotating them forward, or rotate for-
ward the "Smart Lift" red lever; the Smart Lift system will make the right lever rotate
automatically forward.
1.3 Pull forward the chin-guard (Fig. 2).
1.4 Accompany the chin-guard rotation in its upward opening movement (Fig. 2).
• When you are wearing the helmet and the vehicle is temporary
stopped
1.5 Wear the helmet and buckle it. Open the visor.
1.6 Push with your thumbs the two red opening levers rotating them forward, or rotate for-
ward the "Smart Lift" red lever; the Smart Lift system will make the right lever rotate
automatically forward (Fig. 3).
1.7 Pull forward the liftable chin-guard and accompany it in its upward rotation movement.
During the rotation the visor will close automatically (Fig. 2).
Warning: only using the right red lever, the other one will be kept closed and the hel-
met chin guard cannot be opened.
2 CLOSING
2.1 Pull the chin guard downward and rotate until it snaps.
2.2 Make sure that the chin guard is correctly locked.
Warning: the chin-guard must be kept closed and locked wazhen the vehicle is
moving.
• VISOR MECHANISM - DOUBLE ACTION
1 DISASSEMBLY
1 .1 Remove the cover plates A1 and A2 from both sides by lightly pulling the upper part.
(Fig. 4 )
1.2 Unlock the locking bolts B by lightly pulling and rotating them from position 1 to posi-
tion 2. (Fig. 5)
1.3 Remove the bolts making sure not to lose the service springs which are inside the
bolts B.
1.4 Remove the visor.
