17 Maintenance and cleaning
The photometer is almost maintenance-free. The only
maintenance task is replacing the lamp if it is defec-
tive. A spare lamp is included in the scope of delivery
of the photometer.
→
Switch off the photometer and disconnect it from
the mains
→
Carefully turn the photometer upside down and
park it safely. While doing so, keep hold of the
cover with the integrated on/off switch
→
Screw off the lamp cover on the underside of the
photometer using a screwdriver
→
Unscrew the screw
, and make sure it does not
fall into the housing
→
Remove the lamp with its holder
by pulling it
gently upwards
→
Pull out the plug
→
Dispose of the lamp with the household refuse
→
Connect the plug
of the new lamp
→
Insert the new lamp and screw it tight using the
screw
→
Screw the lamp cover on again
Warning
Before starting to change the lamp,
wait for approx. 10 minutes to let the
lamp of the photometer cool down.
Otherwise, there is the danger of
burning!
Caution
Do not touch the new light bulb of the
photometer to avoid fingerprints. Only
touch the lamp on the holder.
