Testing
The quality of the prepared phosphate phosphor standard solutions should be checked using
a suitable measuring system

. The measuring system and the calibration standard must be
prepared for this as per Chapter 2.1. Calibrating with traceable standards ensures the
traceability to reference material by the NIST/PTB.

The presence of chloride must also be checked (qualitative testing for the use of
added hydrochloric acid).
