Bypass any obstacles with the aid of two radio links if a barrier free 
distance cannot be provided. To do so, observe the instructions in 
the appendix of this operating manual.

Note

To prevent the radio transmission from being affected by water or snow 
collecting on the antenna, we urgently recommend protecting any MIQ/
Blue PS radio modules from precipitation with the aid of a plastic 
canopy (SSH/IQ).

Note
The use of gain antennas in order to increase the range and other 
modifications of the product are prohibited according to the directive 
1995/5/EC.

Range test with

attenuator

To make sure that a radio link above 100 m (328 ft) or with radio 
obstacles in the visual connection works interference free you should 
carry out the following test with an attenuator. 
Suitable is, for example, the following attenuator:
