ONFIGURATION
Various pad frame configurations enable the lifter to match different load dimensions and
weights. The following illustrations show all approved pad frame configurations.
Use only approved pad frame configurations.
1)
Choose the approved configuration that will maximize support across the load surface and
minimize load overhang (see INTENDED USE: L
OAD
C
HARACTERISTICS
).
2) Install or remove the pad frame’s removable sections and removable pad arms, and/or rotate
the rotating pad arms, as needed. Some configurations also require the lift bar extension (see
sections to follow.)
Securely position vacuum hoses to avoid damage during lifter operation.
Make sure quick connectors seal completely and all vacuum hoses function
correctly.
