Battery consumption of the device is too high. How can I make device life-time
longer?
Battery consumption is mostly determined by location services. If the battery of your
device is out sooner than you want, try longer frequency of location update. We
recommend longer periods to save battery as you can always manually check location in
the WowME Tracker app and other services work without restriction (such as safety
zones etc.). Description of different frequencies of the location update are to be found in
the chapter “Location Services”.
The device is offline in the WowME Tracker app.
Missing connection between the device and WowME Tracker app can be caused by
multiple problems. Please check that your device meets following criteria:

The battery of the device is charged.
•
PIN code of the SIM card is deactivated.
•
SIM card has an active data plan or enough money for pay-as-you-go data.
•
APN settings are set correctly. As this device doesn’t support 4G connection, it
cannot automatically adjust settings for new SIM cards. To resolve this problem,
see chapter “Updating Network Settings”.
APN settings are incorrect.
Incorrect APN settings block connection to mobile network as this device cannot
automatically adjust to new 4G SIM cards. Follow instruction bellow to check settings of
your device and learn how to adjust them.

Send a text message to number used in your device in the following format:
pw,123456,ts#
•
You will receive
a status message. Check line “GPRS”. If there is “OK”, device is
connected to the network and there is no problem with APN setting. If “GPRS”
shows “NO” and the device meets all criteria listed above, see chapter “Updating
Network Settings”.
